3 claims about "Younglife" by Bo Bartlett

Claim 1-The man in the painting is a hunter. Fact-The man has a gun in his hand used for hunting, there's a dead deer on his truck, and he is wearing an orange hunting hat.

Claim 2-  The man has a family. Fact- There's a women hugging him and a little boy with him  who are his wife or girlfriend and his son.

Claim 3- The couple isn't married. Fact- they don't have wedding rings on.

  1. These claims don't go beyond the surface level. Challenge yourself to question the artist's intent or meaning or choices. You have to start getting deeper into the meaning. Look at what is obvious and ask why the artist did that. Also, you were supposed to write a paragraph in academic tone to support one of your three claims.
