dialects

Voice in literature is someone's style and tone in their writing piece.

When writing I believe a person's voice is already there. They may change it a little to sound more intelligent, but it's still the same overall voice; its just utilized sometimes more or less, so it's both.

They talk around a subject because they are easy slow-going people, and not in a rush, so they use it as a social opportunity. We can tell a writers voice, tone, views, and opinions from the way he  or she approaches and handles a subject.

Voice is important in writing because it helps to set and effect the tone setting, and images of the writing. It's what makes the writing unique.
