Yale head scarf muslim video

I believe that this is an external conflict because there is conflict between the u.s and Muslim people over covering one's body up for religious purposes.

Globalization creates conflict when one culture and/or religion disagrees with another cultures ways or beliefs. This conflict is created because of the strive for cultures to dominate others and have their ways. She means globalization has only flown in one direction because of the western world being the standard for everybody else, and nobody else having a say.

The benefit she says that we do get from globalization is role models from the west and in movies and media that set standards and examples on how to live and behave.

She mentions the Quran  and the constitution.

Utopia

In my own words a utopia is a perfect peaceful world where conflict is nonexistent and everyone and everything is happy.

My ideal world would be a world where money and laws don't exist because everybody shares everything, and everybody loves everybody. This world would have challenges and competition but those challenges and competitions would be healthy and good for everybody.

The soundtrack that would play to my ideal world would be the beach boys sounds of summer because it is an always happy but chill album that would go along with the behavior and lifestyle of the people in my ideal world.

Built to Spill "you were right" claims

The lyrical content of this song was intended to be sad and not rhyme because the lyrics have words such as depression, mess, this is the end, and wrong. They are all words associated with sadness, and also there's no rhyme pattern to the song.

The musical content of this song uses a background of drawn out distorted tones that make the song sad because the tones are almost like a sigh of sadness and give you that tired sad feeling

The songs overall effectiveness is good and very sad because of the sad lyrics, no rhyming, and sad musical tones.

Shame by the A Bros.

The subject of the song is shame and how the artist is ashamed for breaking someone's heart. The tone obviously is shameful, but also a sad plea, kind of begging.

The words that push the tone are cold, please, and overwhelming. Please is repeated i the song many times which supports how he is pleading and kind of begging for the emotional pain to stop. Cold pushes the sadness of the song how the heart is cold. Overwhelming pushes the tone because it shows how he's so ashamed and had so much hurt that is overwhelming.

dialects

Voice in literature is someone's style and tone in their writing piece.

When writing I believe a person's voice is already there. They may change it a little to sound more intelligent, but it's still the same overall voice; its just utilized sometimes more or less, so it's both.

They talk around a subject because they are easy slow-going people, and not in a rush, so they use it as a social opportunity. We can tell a writers voice, tone, views, and opinions from the way he  or she approaches and handles a subject.

Voice is important in writing because it helps to set and effect the tone setting, and images of the writing. It's what makes the writing unique.

Batting Clean up and striking out soapstoned

Subject- The subject of this article is the subject of how males and females notice and enjoy completely different things that the opposite sex will never be able to understand. This is supported by How Barry talks about how women notice the tiniest amount of dirt and men don;t notice dirt until it piles up. Also how the men watch the world series while the women couldn't care one bit, and how women enjoy shopping and men enjoy sports.

Occasion-  This article was written in 1988 by Dave Barry out of Dave Barry's greatest hits. You can tell that  this article was written in modern America because there's t.v and baseball proof of America and modern technology. This gives a modern  view of this subject and it's accurate.

Audience- I believe that the audience of this article are adult males and females. As we read the stories and facts are all about male and female adults curious in why males and females can love each other so much but have completely different ideas of fun and ideas.

Purpose- I believe that Barry wrote this essay to point out a fact and somewhat of a question. This was the purpose. This point was that women notice things and do this men would never notice or do, and vice verse. This i supported in the article by the first line; "The primary difference between men and women is that women can see extremely small quantities of dirt." Although this is true and supports the purpose what it really stands for the differences in behavior ideas and enjoyments between men and women.

Speaker-Dave Barry, proclaimed funniest man in America, believes that as the speaker of this piece tha men and women are so different in ways that the two will never understand. this is supported by the line from the essay saying; "The opposite side of the dirt coin, of course is, sports. This s an area where men tend to feel very sensitive and women tend to be extremely callous.

Tone-Dave Barry expresses a very humorous and observatory attitude about how men and women are so different in aspects. These attitudes are expressed by his jokes about the men of Pompeii and how women notice the tiniest bit of dirt. This tone allows fun and enjoyment and curiosity in reading this article.
